The Sant’Onofrio forest is in Chiauci, just a few steps away from the Historic Shepherds Trails (Tratturi).

This tiny village is yet another well hidden treasure in the pristine surroundings of Molise. A wonderful little church dedicated to the homonymous Saint is nestled in the thick surrounding woods. A leisure destination for many tourists and home to the first Adventure Park opened in Molise.

Getting there.
Follow the signs to Pescolanciano. Straight after the crossroad on the right follow the SP78 and go up to the junction on the left just after the bridge. Take the old provincial road and after abount 1,5 kilometres youwill find access to the picnic area.
